So I redownloaded and re-did everything, turns out that i did not change the folder settings to remove "read-only". Works fine now!

right click the war folder -> properties -> uncheck read only and apply to all folders and subfolders

I've tried all the things you've said and can't get RoR Launcher to run. It is in the correct folder and I've clicked the "read only" box. See attached pic. Any advice?

Also I click on the client file and it asks me what "How I want to open the file?"

It doesn't show the same icon as in your screen.

.exe files should never ask you how to open this file.
You are doing something wrong.
You untick read only from Warhammer Online FOLDER and not a single file.Then you put the file you downloaded RoRlauncher.exe into your Warhammer Online FOLDER and you double click it.

That helped. I got it thanks. Now I get to the log in screen and it just shows the camp with the options at the bottom. No way to start a new character. Hmmm...

Close the game.Select all these files and drag them into Warhammer Folder.
Run RORLauncer.exe again.

Where do I find the Files? I have all but this one

mythloginserviceconfig.xml

?Hmmmm...?
