I find it very curious that you want to prevent "invalidating progression" and offer reverting progression as a solution.

I suspect some players will not be fond of this due to it being forced on players with a grind mentality when people just want to get their gear and pvp. I think it was magicthighs who said "we need more gold sinks" or something along those lines, here you are saying we need more time sinks. Not hte first time it's been mentioned that players must earn/grind and not have everything handed to them. If you're going to cap renown, why slow it down?

Nearly there, I can get onto WAR.exe although it seems to think I have 0 characters on Martyr's Square. I'll go for a smoke then come back. Thanks for such a quick update guys.

God damnit, it appears the person with the Vayra char has been logged in for the past year. I say perma-ban him and release the name to me!
