Also getting authentication failed since last night, and have a friend that it began happening to two days ago both North America.

So I tried a VPN like many have suggested, Still having all the exact same issues regardless of what country I browse from. Would suggest you guys get your hosting service on the phone and kindly ask them to remove head from arse.

I tried a couple free VPN programs, first one that worked for me was Avira Phantom VPN connected to the UK. VPN I tried prior to that did jack squat.

Was able to stay online several hours no issues once I tried that. I'm guessing there is some sort of DNS/misc issue along the normal network paths to US players.

A few minutes ago I was able to login, I stayed connected for a few minutes then logged out to test it again.

I received the "Authentication Failed" error the first time. Second attempt had the "Logging in" message for around a minute then was kicked to server select. After selecting the server I received the login timeout message. I kept selecting the server a couple times and was able to get online.

After each successful connection is when I receive the Authentication Failed message when I try to connect the next time. Here is the log section from that part.
