While things happen of course, my main issue is not with those who due to a random event has to bail - rather those who talk, move around yet do not participate in battles. I could mention a handful who I've seen more than once doing precisely that at 35.
So next time I should try reaching to a GM during the scenario then, and hope they find their actions distasteful?

when I was lvling my AM up during the 32 lvl cap it worked that way. but I was getting shiiiitloads of renown for that
so I guess they took that out lol got like 20 renown levels in a few days.
just threw a dot on every single out of party member I could see, and just watch the renown fly in
So... being a healer gives you less renown than a dps because you don't contribute to the damage? Renown gains seem all over the place. Sometimes I get a lot, other times I get way less than a dpsers who did nothing.

This. Exactly this.

Could also limit premades to 3 people when queing in the same brackets as pugs. That way they have less impact on match.

Or limit premades to 2 people, and have those 2 people given a 50% resist/heal/armor/dps debuff!

Good premades get dragged down by these lazy / incompetent players.
Step up your game...

@tomato
Not sure how spawncamping is encouraging any play at all coz thats what your and all other prenades does against pugs 99% of the time. There are alot of factors that contributes to this. But one for sure is that premades usually makes up for 50% or more of the players on one side. Except for BFP coz these kinda premades tends to avoid this scenario (I wonder why. Could it be that they have less impact on the board) And I dunno how making groups smaller discourage group play?
