If anything engi is strong now, magus remains magus

It can be pretty tricky indeed.

The keep defense complaint is a valid one. By allowing engie and magus to attack from well outside the range of other rdps, you are making those other classes much less effective at keep sieges on both the attacking and defending sides. If a player is saying, "Well, I can't hit them but they can hit me, so there is really no point in trying to take part", then you have made the game worse for people playing those other classes. is that the goal of the change?

It's being disregarded because I don't intend the current flow of keep sieges to be the final one. MDPS still have it worse.

Yeh, but mdps know they have it worse and they excel in so many other aspects of the game. Keep sieges are one place where all rdps know its their turn to take the lead.

you forgot orvr. Ranged are king in any situation where they are difficult to reach.

All in all my "not so much expertise" allows me to say, I am pretty happy with those changes. Makes me log onto my magus from time to time. But its still not that fun as other classes. (to me)

Feels cool when you hurl some bolts from an immense distance. But they are not that hefty nor does it change the fact, that you are bound to your position (beside the pet replacement cd). And when you permanently have to kite/hover you have no stacks at all.

So all in all, I think this is pretty balanced, perhaps the range is maybe a little to high.
Maybe stacks should build up faster but a little less range. But who am I to suggest the pros whats good.
Peter seems like a very experienced Magus.

jorgemarco wrote:Saying Magus/engi are not OP is offensive. I like experiments with classes trying improve the game, im agree with that. Now we know the buff is excesive. Classes like my SW lost any sense to be played since Magus has that extremely long range.
If you manage to get past tier 2 you will soon realise that what your saying isnt exactly true at all.
