BG shines at debuffing the target then using long range punts to either split target from a tank guard by either punting the tank or guarded target away depending on your group setup.
Some people will claim that BG debuffs are useless due to allready being covered by Marauder but thats inaccurate. Overlapping debuffs from different sources are never useless especially when it's the moast important debuffs. This just means they are much harder to cleanse away and the kill capacity or dmg output from your group is gonna be much more consistant.

I decided to stick with carnage because of that nice strength/tufnes bonus. Strength is the "primary" stat you aim for (in my opinion) after you have reached at least 650 tufnes (which becomes 750 with FoW and then capped with Terrying foe at 90 hatred) and if you have farmed the ruin set you are going to be very near the tufnes "cap" already.

If you don't swing that way, i heard people speak with praise about that dragonsomething glaive that gives parry.

As for shield just go for the eternal one, 3% native+ 2% bonus block, 42 tufnes, everything you could ever want. The ones from the quests are pretty damn iffy in my opinion.

Thanks for the help.
