1) I don't recall people ever arranging 6v6 fights in CW/EC on live. Instead, people would say "meet in Eataine/CW/whichever zone is uncontested" and fight there. Usually with lots of spectators.

2) The abyss is a part of that map, just like lava is a part of Tor Anroc, and Khaine's Embrace has the bomb mechanic, and you have to carry a bomb in Talabec Dam. It is a bad idea to change a SC just to cater to certain players (be them 6-man groups, pugs, WBs, whatever).

3) You seem to imply that certain guilds can only win by punting. There are a bazillion other places where you can test this theory out without having to change a SC. So this point is kinda irrelevant to the discussion (if there's even a discussion here about EC having a wall; i believe Torque settled that already).

Maybe with patcher we can get a proper 6v6/competitive scenario. CW works well enough and the king of the hill objective is fine. EC From my perspective has always been a troll/stomp scenario, 99% of fights I've seen in there are tottaly one sided.

I can only speak for myself but a scenario where there is no respawn, and the map resets after 6 players from one side dies with the objective being winning 3 out 5 rounds would be ideal(basically csgo). One of the worst things in 6v6 in scenarios is respawning in the middle of fights and the difficulty of resetting.

I'd also like to see objective based 6v6, but based on past threads I might literally be the only one.

PUG V PUG 6v6 is also incredibly fun as well if the the group comps are there

that's cool, I ain't moaning, I was just saying that its an unwritten rule to not punt (hence why most premades will apologise after). I am not demanding anything, just giving an insight into what premades (at least those that I know) think of EC punting.

By all means, punt your hearts away if that's the pvp you enjoy.

tldr; you're right, abyss is part of the map. my point was essentially that, if a scenario is only accessible/intended for X audience, then concerns from X regarding said scenario ought to be taken into consideration. Torque is in charge of that, which I didn't know, so disregard said point.

Gentleman's agreements, etiquette, un-written rules, sportsmanship, apologies for a multitude of sins. There is now Geneva Convention agreements in RoR? Nope!

And, ofc if you end up in the balconies in the EC sc and can't be reached, stay there and heal or rdps imo, you got there because of a fail punt afterall, and ought use that to your advantage.

Another issue with the map, indeed. So many gimmicky things to get stuck in/fall into.

I just want to say that I never, ever, in 8+ years of WAR heard of unwritten rules about punting in EC or premades apologizing after a punt-fest. Must be a EU thing, but i never saw that in NA servers. :)

Given that one 6V6 map is in rotation at any given time, the rule has had to come about for those of us who don't want gimmicky instagibs deciding the outcome of a fight. Could be a EU thing.

Ultimately who cares, the sc pops once a week as it is XD

Penril:
1) We fought your guild 6v6 several times in CW. Another popular spot was the island in Etaine.
2) There were no group SCs built for 6v6.

Peter:
Why not go old-school and fight in an uncontested area and fight to the death? The 6v6 scenarios are pretty meh imo.
