Return of Reckoning

I didn't play much, but the highest I got was a purple in t2 or something like that. The rest was whites, oh and one green. I personally don't care much since I have everything I need. And grinding alts is the last thing I will spend my time on.

This to me seems a pretty good example for average, if you would have gotten also 1 gold bag.
Players who got way more have beenreally lucky, players with less are just very unlucky.

1 purple when i was 2 min in a zone and logged off ( deserved that 1 )

4 gold (all belts), 1 blue, around 12-14 whites.

Playing mostly in 6-12 man roaming groups on order (heavy AAO all the time).

Opting out of gold bags would be a welcome addition since I dont actually need conq gear.

Came one hour late to warband.
Got purple.
Goes to the pile of dupes.
Rest gets white or green.

This is the most extreme case I witnessed which made no sense.

In total: 1x gold 1x purple 2x blue 1x green 2x white

2 gold (1 with no loot =/)
1 purp
2 blue
20-30 whites

1 blue and a truckload of whites

Getting gold doesn't change your chance for purple.

^^ This was my experience too and the only reason I got a blue was because of a last ditch 20 min defense of KV with 200%+ aao. Meanwhile spending 4 hours across a couple of zones Saturday with a bunch of ppl online got me all whites. I had gotten to thinking that as a guardbot tank in a wb my contribution must be lower than the average from 6 mans or whatever ppl do to get a boatload of kills, but after reading this thread I'm not so sure that this has that heavy of a weight to it in the system. It would seem that aao has a higher weight to it than pure contribution via kills as far as bonuses go.

So I guess I am jealous of the people who spend a short time in the zone and in get a blue or higher and are luckier than I. Ik i don't play often enough to ever reach full conq gear but man I really want that subjagator shield and I figure I will get it eventually. Overall it must be said that this is a much better system than the previous one and it seems to get more people actively doing things in the lakes which is a exactly what this game needs to make orvr its best self. so Win-win.
