If it is asking for you to point it to the folder in which to repair performance counters, type:

"cd c:\windows\system32" in command prompt, then type "lodctr /r".

LODCTR
Met à jour les noms des compteurs de l'Analyseur de performances et le texte
explicatif pour un compteur extensible

Utilisation :
LODCTR [\\ordinateur] nom_de_fichier
Ordinateur est le nom de l'ordinateur distant.
L'ordinateur local est utilisé si le nom d'ordinateur n'est pas spéc
ifié.
nom_de_fichier est le nom du fichier d'initialisation contenant les
définitions du nom de compteur et le texte explicatif pour une DLL
counter DLL.

LODCTR /S:<NomFichier>
enregistrez les chaînes de Registre de performance et les informations a
ctuelles dans <NomFichier>

LODCTR /S:<NomFichier>
restaurez les chaînes de Registre de performance et les informations act
uelles dans <NomFichier>

Remarque : tout argument contenant des espaces dans les noms doit être placé ent

doubles guillemets.

sorry , it's in french but when i type "lodctr /r" look what cmd give oO
i have test "Performance Counter Rebuilder" but it's doesen't works.
i can test to repare in safeboot as admin ...

oh no .. so i haven't any solution to repare with xp ? :'( i was so happy to play another time
