No, they are normally released much faster. The next update will bring T2 and a major combat/ability rework, so it is pretty clear that this took/will take some time.
And all this delayed atm, because some "people" decided to ruin the economy with hundred thousands of exploited goldpieces and duped items, so the devs have to fix this crap first.

i mean, if the game will remain in this status where it's now, population will sink i guess, which is not that bad, because its an alpha phase, but some small fixes would fresh up the gameplay. Maybe this is already planed so...

Btw, i'm just guessing from the information that is available.

With T2 and the combat rework abilities up to level 20 will be available and working, so i don't see why people should leave the game because of it. Also several glitches will be probably fixed.

i hope so. at this point, many little things are dragging the fun kinda away so i hope the best for the nextup

I doubt it takes that long to find the exploit source using logs, I think the devs are just on vacation.

We've already sourced both of the exploits used to wreck the economy and items. It's cleaning up this mess in a satisfactory way that's the problem.

As for quests, for one reason or another I personally cannot do much about that, so I'm sticking to combat.

Many "small" stuff is also fixed in the combat rework, like abilities not hitting but go on cooldown and players at low life run at full speed etc.

what about party frame ui and warband , plus a way to stop people from farming troll in altdorf ? before releasing tier 2
