it reminds me back in live server using FM + BoB (or mirror) insta teleport to other spot. Many ppl used to call that cheat but we had the keys to be able to do it. You just need to deal with it

Well in that way u can say crashing is ok too you have the keys to be able to do it:) I know some ppl have no honour at all, other dont want to die at all cost for some reason (mental issue maybe) but cmon because u allow to do things its not mean its right thing to do.

In my experiences, I've seen a lot of people use BoB to get out of a sticky situation. Maybe you guys are new to the server, or haven't played so long...?
I didn't say using BoB is normal; i said a "SIGNIFICANT" portion of the playerbase uses it. That doesn't mean 'this is normal'. You need to work on your English semantics skills. And why are you trying to insinuate that I myself use such lame tactics? I never have, and never will.

They may not be different in their objectives, but to say that 'i saw a player using BoB, therefore he's a client crasher' is wrong as: 1) you don't know ulterior motives behind said player using BoB; 2)maybe - just maybe - the player is using BoB before people even start to attack him.

i didnt say its right thing to do, deal with such behavior? YES. IMO doing that makes them look pretty bad, even if they are good players (not so good at all because u crashed instead made a PRO kite.. ^^). Thankfully is only 2 or 3 players crashing not whole community.

only 2/3 people actually do this. it would be nice if the attention was drawn towards these OTHER players, too, and not just the one player who happened to reside in my guild.

I didnt insinuate nothing but whats written by you, and about the coloured part, dont try to attack me or dodge the very arrow u fired.

U said "significant" in capitals, that means way more than an 1% of the players. So far i have seen it two times, one in server and one in the screnshoot up, that is obviously a way of breaking combat as the screenshoot was made in purpose for a quite obvious reason. No need to be a great detective to notice who's lieing if the WE player came to say that wasnt breaking combat.

U may feel its different, no clue why, but notice that along the thread u are the only one. For a very good reason. Both are ways of meta-play.

Im not insulting u, at all. I am just, again, speaking only of what you have written all along the thread. My point stays. It can only came for a bad looser to break combat when its gonna fail.

PS: I leave it here. Meta-play deserve to be shown in public as what it is, one of the most unrespecfull ways to play a MMORPG.

It's not a cheat, but it IS awful design and should not be considered acceptable simply because some Mythic developer was stupid enough to implement it. There is no reason one should ever be able to warp out of an active combat. The BoB won't be an option for this in future, either, because it will be set back like any other ability if you're attacked while using it.

Which is more likely? We're all blind or you're putting in a spirited and biased defense of your own guild?

That we know for certain that one of the players in your guild does this (because of your own admission which you later edited out) means that it is perfectly valid for the integrity of both you and your guild to be questioned because you harbor at least one player who resorts to such tactics. The good old "I can't control what my guildmembers are doing" excuse is never valid - you choose who is in your guild. The buck stops with whoever leads that guild.

Exact same principle applies if you find someone in my guild who is cheating and I fail to kick them out. I'd be demonstrating that I either didn't care or would blindly defend players in my guild even if they are trash. Neither would reflect well.
