Return of Reckoning

I have a WP8 on the 8.1 DP and would be happy to beta test should you require it.

Kudos for trying to make a customised one, Tapatalk is alright but it's never as good as a well developed dedicated app (also can't include the Armory on Tapatalk ^~ ). There's an IDE where you write the code for the app, push a button and get an iOS, Droid and WP8 app but it costs a lot from memory.

I require help from a web developer. Anybody?

To use on this current forum what I would do is write a webservice that reads in the forum into an http handler then parses the web data down to a mobile friendly stream that the app reads and displays (adds as well as applicable, there are two on this home page)
you do not want to force mobile devices to stream the full http as this would a, cost a lot of data allowance b. be inefficient.

It's still on the desktop but I managed to parse this:



Should now navigate to each address and start parsing the forum posts.

It's showing the recent topics, without authentification.

Next thing to do is to get the forum address on selection like that blue text thing after which I need to add the parsing of a thread.

Have you considered the possibility to use Tapatalk forums reader?

Haha, for once iOS gets to hang around awkwardly while we get the cool toy ^^

Tapatalk would let us access the forum, but that's it. With JeFawk writing a custom app he can included features such as IRC, Armory, Authenticator, Bugtracker, custom app skin (Tapatalk charge through the nose for custom apps) etc etc. Tapatalk would function more-or-less instantly, but we wouldn't be able to get cool stuff.
