Just don't, no, no, no, no!
Current system works fine.
No need to adjust it for your needs, and eventually break the game, because all these tweaks has domino effect on calculations that are being used in functions/methods (w/e you call it).
You think devs used specific constant values in that calculations just because they thought it will be a fancy number?! Ofc not.
Pls stop.

If you have negative chance to be crit , enemy will have his crit chance minus your negative chance.
So it doesn't not only work against +crit debuffs on you (kobs or ini debuff for example), but also directly against the crit chance of your enemy now? Ok.
It works like this since years.

Worked like this for a long time now, which is why minus crit + FS4 is very viable atm.

If more stats/bonuses are needed, maybe they could be implemented via itemization, but so far things are in working order imo

Yeah, that would be an option - would need to calculate the value of those stats differently for item level. This is meant as a small improvement, what do you think about the options?

imo, changing something as fundamental as the core stats would create too many balance issues to sort through

I like these ideas a lot. Would be interesting to test them out.

Some of them seem a little over the top, and i fear it would take RoR so far away from the Live game. I dont mind changes as AoR had issues, but this will break open the game to a point i would struggle to recognize it.
Careers who buff stats would naturally reap the most benefit from this, but do we need knight/chosen auras to be stronger? it would push AM/shammy who only bring Resist party buffs further behind Zealot/runepriest who buff stats and i cant on top of my head think of a underplayed career this would benefit.
Armor talisman meta might have some issues, resist talismans never being used might eventually need some focus, same for racial single-resist tactics. But the mainstats having a main purpose, and a secondary is probably just fine.
Fun idea though, in theory.

A solution to a problem nobody had? OMG this is right up the alley of the devs.
Yes lets make more changes, just for changes sake. Cause change itself is the only thing good right?
If it aint broke, fix it anyway! LMAO
I dunno man there are just a plethora of actual issues this server needs to address before they muddy up itemization like this.
I personally think this is a bad idea, period.

Definitely file it under "If it is not broken, don't try to fix it".
