Its not the same planet/setting at all. They wiped away the fantasy cultures and replaced them with 40k clones.
This.

What a joke

This is as bad as mechwarrior dark age. The positive in that is they scrapped that game after a year and went back to the original battletech. Hopefully the same happens with fantasy.

The guys at GW must be either drunk or drugged. Or both.

I had a dream last night that the high ranking GW people were being investigated for fraud/embezzlement/crimes against its fanbase or something. It was a good dream.

So what I get for looking at the rules is theres no balance, no points costs, you can spam cheese like 4 bloodletters and win in turn 1 and thats intentional but no one will play with you and you have to wear a fake mustache or try and make the other player sing a song with you to get extra dice. wtf is this travesty wheres is the inquisition to purge this unholy heresy? And there will definitely not be a 9th edition. This looks like its been made up in a mad panic.

Breaking:
On Bell of lost souls has appeared an official mail from GW where there is some kind of army list.
At 12:00 it was confirmed as official.

It says roughly:
____________________________________________________________
bla bla ... for shopplaying....

1-12 warscrolls
1-2 Hero warscrolls
0-2 Monster warscrolls
No Single warscroll may contain more than x wounds (i.e. 24)
Heroes may not be duplicated
All other warscrolls may only be duplicated once.
___________________________________________________

So I think this was their fast shot against all that NO Balancing nerdrage.
I think we can expect a propper balancing either in the Big Rulebook that should appear on 18-19.07. or in a later publication.
