Yes it will still be **** at times, but you can't argue that it wouldn't be less ****, if the matchmaking at least made an effort to put healer classes in groups before it would pop.
Premade vs premade is idea, but we all know on a low pop server that would lead to extremely long que times, and not just because of the low population.
The whole point of war was you had alternative ways to play classes. As Paul said which got so many interested in the game healers dont just 'and i heal and i heal and i heal'. If you have tanks or healers speced dps people will rage that they queued and didn't play their supposed archetype. It would be possible if you could do like swtor and choose the role you are queued for but the client cant handle that and we cant alter the client.

There are options, Telen. We can use our own command system (& for players and . for GMs) in combination with addons to communicate back and forth with the server in a convenient way. We just need addon authors for that.
With such a system, we would be able to create a mechanism to inform the server of how you intend to play, though I'm sure we would start seeing rage in the opposite direction ("omg dps chosen gtfo")

Alot of premades dont do it to face premades or they would arrange it. They do it to avoid being put in crap groups but still want to fight pugs. They would just queue sync.

sure, but still there will be the option for real premades to fight each other.
ANY system will be exploited by dushbags anyway. all you can do is put options in for the real players.

I don't really think you are picking up what I'm laying down.

A tank is a tank, no matter how you build it, be it 2h w/ str (dps) or s&b w/ toughness etc... The main function of a tank class is guard, plain and simple. When you go "dps" tank you limit some of the things you can do, and open up new possibilities BUT... your primary role should always be guarding something. This is one of those cases where the way in which matchmaking is handeled will "force a meta upon the player" which can be a valid argument, but I really don't think it is going to apply here, as SC's are hardly competitive seeing as they don't have a MMR system to begin with.
DPS classes should simple enough, and as far as healers are concerned you could just check if WP is their dominant stat, maybe check masteries of a zealot for the 0.001% that will be queing as dps.
It won't be perfect by any means, but a very big step in the right direction. Even if it only works half the time that is a major improvement.
Having awful comps leads to players leaving the sc with /stuck or client crash? Which I think is ghosting them in the SC and not allowing new players to join putting their already crippled team a an even bigger disadvantage (I see people on both sides doing it, mostly players who have a "reputation" and don't want to lose to pugs). Kind of a tangent there, but are we going to see penalties for ditching scenarios on RoR?

quiting a sc is just so plain silly, it makes me mad.

I quit everytime our side is going to win in sc, cause i can't risk my reputation gets any damage.
Same for 1vs1 situations; enemy has only 5% HP left -> gonna alfF4 out.

how about a simple quest: you get 50s for winning a scenario? or 2 gold for winning 5 scenarios or something?
this could already be enough incentive to work for that goal, as gold is really difficult to get with pvping.
