Also noticed that engineer rings aside from having str have no talisman slot. Going to assume other classes like magus suffer from the same problem.
Not a big deal now, but if talisman making is added it will be a pretty big difference.

Willpower was meant as a defensive stat on that gear as to disrupt spells. Mythic never let anyone go down a path completely. They had this strange concept of how a char has to be played in the back of their head.
And if complaining about stats on gear is a thing: Dat strength on DOK T2 rvr influence chalice - turns me into Hulk. Smaaaaash!

Ya I was never a fan of stat caps, I think I saw Az made a post about WP being like 0.00x disrupt chance per 1 wp or something insane like that.

I remember some slayer stuff had WP on them. Also is it not stacking initative helping healers too not be crit hit?!.

had a engi on volkmar that had a extra set of sov with strength and armor used to watch him gank randoms in melee/

Intention of Stats cap is to spread around the stats instead of focusing on one. You don't want to see a glass cannon MDPS with 20:1 KD ratio running around.
Keep in mind, WAR/ROR is not the only MMO that does this. Popular MMOs does this to keep sure all players have a equal footing for fair playing.
