Krumlok's WAAAAGH!
After slaying countless enemies, not only stunties, 'umies a' elvs, but also rebellious Greenskins who dared to question his Tough'Un Bignaness, Krumlok grew in size, powerful enough to rally the local tribes of Swampy' Greenskins. The objective was clear: Reclaiming back the Holy WAAAAAAAGH! lands of Fangbreaka Swamp, which had recently fallen to Dwarf control. "Dat'z unaseptabul'" Krumlok thought.
A call-to-WAAAAAGH! was issued by many of Krumlok's gobbo messangas. Many answered the call: from fearless Chaos warriors, brutally cunning Greenskins and mysterious, always-watching Dark Elves.
Soon, a full Warband under the leadership of Krumlok da Boss was formed. Savaj Grufrip and Witcha' Cynthia were da Boss' Right and Left hand that day.
Krumlok sent a scouting party to Fangbreaka while at the same time, he led the spearhead of the WAAAAGH! to Alcadizaar Tomb. There happened the first fight of the day. An order warband had just crossed the messy Skaven tunnels and were at Tomb's doorstep.
"See' em stuntiez? Dat'z da enemy! Smasha! Charge!"
A fierce fight followed but ultimately, the enemy warband was slaughtered and Tomb was now under control. The scouting party got back, telling there was no one at Fangbreaka.
Da WAAAAAGH! inmediately stormed Fangbreaka and, save for a few poor Dwarves who were trapped inside and killed not long after, the keep was empty.
The WAAAAAAGH! was succesful. But Krumlok was ambitious; he and Grufrip knew the WAAAAGH! would end soon. Everyone wanted more blood.
"Diz ain't ova yet, Boyz! Fol back in lin'. Dakka Karaz iz da Stunty's most preshious posseshun. We shall defile, sack a'loot it. Mork'a Gork are wiff 'us!'"
The combined forces of Greenskins, Chaos and Dark Elves soon crossed the Skaven Tunnels to the Dwarven Lands.
Just after leaving the tunnels, a Dwarf Scouting group was waiting, eager to prey on the newcomers. It caused some trouble, managed to postpone the advance a bit. But once the largest part of the Warband crossed the tunnels, the stunties (the ones who were alive) fled the battlefield.
Dok Karaz was the next target, and it was more defended than Fangbreaka. It was to be expected, since it's a strategic point and a site which was very important to the Dwarfs.
The WAAAAAGH! marched relentessly to Dok Karaz door's. They were meet by fireballs, bullets and arrows; yet they pressed on. The door fell to the onslaught of da WAAAGH! and after a long fight with the defenders inside, Dok Karaz was captured.
Captured, defiled, looted, sacked....
Cynthia knew there was something wrong in Fangbreaka. Her suspicions were soon confirmed when a gobbo messanga arrived to the now-sacked Dok Karaz to tell grim news: Fangbreaka was under siege by a large number of 'umies.
The Holy WAAAAAAGH! lands would not fall to the enemy again. Da Boss Krumlok, Savaj Grufrip and Cynthia marched inmediately with a group of battle-hardened Big'Uns to Fangbreaka's aid. The main body of the warband would go after the group crossed the Skaven Tunnels. Krum's group managed to quickly enter Fangbreaka. Unfortunately, the main body of the warband was delayed by Order regiments outside the Skaven Tunnels.
The situation at Fangbreaka was grim: The defenders were outnumbered, the door was almost at breaking point and some had already died due to the unstoppable rain of fireballs and grenades. The WAAAAAAGH! was about to die, too.
The Order advance into the keep cornered the remaining defenders, including Krumlok, Savaj Grufrip and Cynthia to a desperate last stand in da Boss' Room.
But, when all seemed lost, when it was clear Order would reclaim the Holy WAAAAGH! land....
Reinforcements arrived!
An Orc Warband of bloodthirsty and battle-ready Savaj Boyz under the leadership of Blastoise alongside the main body of the WAAAAAAGH! launched a sneaky attack from behind. The Order forces, surprised, were soon overrun. Fangbreaka was saved.
Both Bosses agreed to head to the Dwarven lands once again, since the Bitterstone Stuntiez and an Order warband were spotted there earlier and managed to recapture Doz Karak. Krumlok led the spearhead through the Skaven Tunnels. Not long thereafter, Krumlok's Boyz and the Bitterstone Stuntiez clashed near the Skaven Tunnels. While it was a fierce fight, the Bitterstone Thunderers were stomped and the way was clear for the main warbands to arrive....
Once everyone was in position, the gates of Doz Karak were WAAAAAGHed! and the lord quickly fell under the combined forces of Destruction. Just in time, because the combined forces of Order & Bitterstone Thunderers were marching together to meet the enemy at Doz Karak's gate and destroy the Green Tide threat once and for all...and then, the slaughter started.
In front of the gate, Krumlok's & Blastoise WB's stood still at the onslaught of the Order WBS, while being shot by the fire of Thunderers. Krumlok rallied da Boyz and charged, while Grufrip's & Blastoise sneakyboyz charged from the flanks. Bitterstone lines were quickly broken and Order was defeated and got forced to regroup at Warcamp. The battle went as follows: Order approached keep - Destruction charged - Order lines were broken - Everyone running to Order's Warcamp.
Rinse and repeat. After repelling Bitterstone and Order time and time again, the WAAAAGH! fell back to the interior of Dok Karaz. The sacked Dwarf fortress gate withstood the artillery fire and the magic fire for a while, but eventually it broke. The battle seemingly turned its tide in Order's favor.
But it was ALL part of the plan. Once Order entered the keep, they were trapped inside. Orc Boyz charged to meet the enemy head-on, gaining time for Krumlok to lit the fire signal for Da Reinforcement Mob!. The Mob arrived very quickly and smashed the Thunderers and the rest of the Order from behind while the defenders pushed from the front.
/ That's what happens when you call a WAAGH! on advice chat
Huge numbers on both sides, coupled with almost no lag and the tactics involved, made it a very enjoyable experience.
Looking forward for the next huge fight!
