Re: POLL - RVR - What would make you play more?

Right now? Probably the promise of sovereign and some improvements to some of the more useless actions in the game (would really like we'z bigger to be useful). Other than that, I'm already quite happy where I am and enjoying things as they are.
Wall of text on medallions and stuff:
The medallion droprate / chance to get gold bags is a tough issue to attack.
Up until recently I wasn't really happy with the rate of medallion drops but now I understand why they are as they are. With access to organised guild groups, my rate of medallion acquisition has skyrocketed. It has probably more than halved my time to get conq. gear because of the sheer number of kills the organised groups can get.
Medallion drop rate was something that made me consider quitting, but since getting into organised events, my whole view and feelings have changed. I'm really enjoying the events and I'm far more invested than before. Organised activity gave me hope.
I don't think I agree with conq. gear on kills. For me that would either considerably de-value conqueror's (if the drop rate was high) or it would just be an insult to see one drop per week and never see something for your class... or lose the roll repeatedly to another member of your class.
I think the current two gear distinctions are enough variation. The focus on one of two primary play-styles and, as far as I am aware, there aren't really more than two play-styles for each class.
I am a bit confused as to why specific sets (and therefore play-styles) are locked to different types of playing. For example... If you want to play a backline healer, you won't be getting any useful set pieces in scenarios. The purpose of the current system is to let people choose what they want, but this seems much more forceful to me. You're forced to play the type of RVR that awards you gear for your chosen play-style.
