If you had actually read this or many of the other threads about this problem, you'd know people are researching a highly specific issue. It has nothing to do with the server being up or not and we know it.

Well, not sure helps this for others, but...
I can't remember - was that written by someone before me an' was readen for some time ago, or I find it by myself, but for last time I beat in some BDSM-way that error:

"Could not connect to Login server
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): ***************
в System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(IPAddress[] addresses, Int32 port)
в System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(String host, Int32 port)
в RoRLauncher.Client.Connect()"

So, like in first time, I unpack the client from archive, turn off read-only for RoR directory and get a launcher there, run game and finaly - shiny holy connection. But only once. For the next time I wanna play - I need to delete RoR folder, and get from start by unpacking the client and etc and etc. Tought, yeap, but it works.
