Unless it's changed, it does take a couple days for password changes to transfer over to the game server. If you can log into the forums, eventually the game will take the same password. Just wait for it. Once it works, don't change it again.

i have this problem too, i used the forgot password button and recieved a new one via email, now i cant enter through the launcher

I've got the same problem now after having to change my password for the forums, can't log in to the game with my old password, temporary given password or my new one. This happened after server reboot.

I, too, have this problem. Last night I found out about this project, fired up tixati to load the torrent and created an account. Tried to login and got the error. Didn't take long to find this and other threads like it, but apparently pulling an all-nighter shot my reading comprehension, because I made the mistake of changing my PW to another one that also contained numbers. I then re-read the sticky, so here's the quotation to prove it.

So I created this account. I went against my principle and used a PW that only contains standard letters, no symbols and no numbers. And of course, "Invalid Username/Password" again.
Looking at the posting times on threads of others who also encountered this technical difficulty, I take it this isn't something that just sprung up. Now I know this is the TechSupport board and not the Suggestions and Feedback board, but if you know it occasionally takes a few days to be able to play after changing PWs or creating an account and the problem can possibly be circumvented by using a less secure PW, shouldn't that information be added to the "What you accept about this project before playing"-thread? Or that one can't create multiple accounts on the same e-mail address, but also can't delete the "faulty" account themselves?
While combined with my admitedly poorly-chosen handle this last paragraph might sound like "an entitled attitude", I mean no disrespect. I think it would actually save you a few posts like mine and the ones above it. Provided you don't see the handle I chose here as a personal attack on the staff, please delete my older account "imsofresh".
