Even as I can see why you as a tank would love that, but tb killed the DPS really fast on life.... so that would be a horrible idea.

argument against QE - it is terrible because using defensive abilities activates against those chasing them which results the attacker having the advantage rather than just being defensive it's used purposely for offensive.
The 'use ability to cancel' helps but usually those using this know this and it doesn't interfere with their offensive strategy (specifically melee dps, tanks).
With so many types of attacks in RoR I don't see a easier solution than to disable it until it can't be used offensively IMHO.

how does a -30% damage output for 10 seconds sound as a penalty to use?

Alternatively, demonstrate that QE busts zergs and we'll eat all the bullshit and imbalance I said and knew QE would cause for the sake of that.

And just like RNG, this is a part of cancer IDK what to call it "unknown factors" that players have to deal with. Does this person have RD, CW, QE, Double max pots, etc...? A player who invests their time learning the game, can for the most port ascertain what a class can and can't do and can reliably make informed decisions based on that, but when the meta game gets bogged down in stuff like active renown abilities and RNG cancer it becomes impossible to make those decisions, and your options become limited and you are always playing like you are assuming the worst case scenario, or worse you make what should of been a good play that turns rotten because of the aforementioned mechanics.

If you want to give 6 mans the power to fight zergs, fine... but don't make it stuff like this that is gonna mess with structured/competitive PvP. I don't personally see why people think they should be able to intrinsically fight a force 2-4x whatever they have and be successful unless they are fighting zika babies.

Terrible ability, terrible implementation. For mdps it's going to be really tough, except, maybe, WLs. Time to dust mine off then. As if gobbos didn't already have enough means (+dps) to get away.

As for the requests, I wonder whom are basing your decisions on? I didn't see a specific topic on this quick escape

If this experiment will remove QE CW and RD from the game I am willing to be ganked by whole week :D Because I won't use it.

Im a fan of quick escape and the renown point system we have however for the sake of a more balanced game i would prefer to see the original renown point system, it was far more indepth and less focused on just pick what you want/need.

The things you can do with RC,CW and QE take away some of the strengths/weaknesses certain classes have.

I too enjoyed the old renown point system and never liked the new renown point system.
