KV is actually one of the two best zones to roam in, as it provides multiple vantage points form which to form and launch just such ambush attacks as you mention. A warband which knows what it is doing or will simply follow direction can enjoy a tremendous amount of success. Personally I love the place. Along with Praag it can be exploited for more deception than the DNC server.

If you fail to see how a multiple-active-zone system would/could help breaking up the dominating zerg (through organized skin-attacks in a different zone etc), then there's little to discuss.
It's underdog that runs first to avoid zerg.
Question is, dominating Zerg break up volunteerly? b4 underdog runs away?

Let's say there are 3wb.
1. each wb for 3zones, let underdog pick zone to fight. other 2 zones are PvD. easy bag.
who wants PvD go those zones, who wants PvP go fighting zone. right?
what if underdog want PvD? no choice = quit = less PvP, more PvD

2. say 2wb wants PvP, 1wb for PvD
results
1. zerg got both zone, underdog faced only 2wb. it's better than facing 3.
2. underdog locked in PvP zone, 1wb go for next empty zone. repeat until seal of ~. PvD
3. underdog prevail, 3wb gather again. underdog run away. chasing + PvD

I see high chance of PvD from both side. easy bags.
initiative is up to underdog, not zerg. and they choose least resist cuz they are underdog.

Multi-zone = favoring zerg's PvD, chasing underdog from zone to zone while zerg still exist.
+ xrealm option = why play underdog?
1 open zone is mustering method for underdog.
plz share your theory of breaking down dominating zerg in multi-zone system.

Multi-zone fights is a different discussion entirely. This threads topic pertains to the discussion of how we can make KV great again.

May be a mute point or a dumb idea, Maybe lower the Keep door health or the Keep Lord health in the mean time for this zone? Since the keeps are practically in walking distance from the defending realms warcamps.

Have the tunnels been of any use so far?

It's a bit weird, I haven't fought in KV in about 2 weeks, so somehow the tunnels seem to be working as the zone rarely is the chosen battlefield. :D

Destro has been taking a bit of a beating lately so KV is somewhat rare these days. Would need a bit more time to see how the tunnels could be of use, but these days it's order pushing to BC almost daily.
