These threads can almost be copied and pasted. So I will say what I said when the other faction was outnumbered.

The times when faction numbers are equal are rare, enjoy them when they are there. Usually its one side or the other that has the numbers.

If you are going to enjoy this game for very long you have to be able to have fun when your side has the numbers AND when your side doesnt.

It is a flaw of the 2 faction mass PvP design. Its probably one of the leading factors why this awesome game didnt live up to its potential.

Most players cant handle being on the losing side.

There would have been losing sides with 3 factions aswell.
There can only be one winner. And nothing says that population pans out even if two sides can work togehter to beat a thrid.
The fact that you can pretty much just change faction anytime you want probobly have more to do with it. Even how silly it might sound but stuff like realm pride and guild pride is important for PVP games.
The lack of endgame is another.

I've been on keep takes while we had AAO. Cause the other side had a grand total of 3 healers trying to defend. Avo used to have WBs with no tanks and 2 healers(not a dig, just how open WBs work sometimes). Numbers don't always mean everything....

Also, the Home page showing 59/41 on either side is worthless. How many of those are in SCs? PvEing? Sitting in the City? AFK? Crafting? The side with "less" players could have far more in the ORvR lakes. And AAO can shift drastically since this is an international server and people from all over the world wake up/get home from work/sleep at different times...

Its really easy to profit from AAO now like szejoza saying. Make a group or two and attack BO's theres always a buttload of soloers and ungrouped players there thats free renown.
Some BO's got chokeepoints you can also hold with a very small force where zerging just makes it harder.

Sometimes people need to vent. Can't speak for youngsters but I'm 37 with a kid, missus and full time job.

This game is how I relax and, yes, unleash the inner child and act like a complete arse. It's cheaper than drinking.

So thats why we get these whine threads from time to time.
