There were and still are strange things that original developers supposed to be in Warhammer. So that's not a reason.By those who set it to 5s duration. Probably the people you can thank for WAR.

Ok. So you agree that applying to Dev's wisdom is not an argument at all and SM's Eagle flight changes are at least discussable. That's good.If it was correct to set it to 5s is what we are discussing here.
