Spent just under an hour in TC/OST with a pug wb, as 37/33 SM, 200-300 players in zone?, 100k xp, 26k renown, 20 seals, 10ish of each medal type, no idea how many kills as enemy resets on zone change all the time.

Kind of cool to see so many players, Keep was a brief minor event, lot of central zone fighting to and fro, some nice wb flanking moves.

Was fun, better than dead zone or no chance zone, a really organised warband would have a lot of fun here.

As an NA player, I look forward to this experiment and hope it will indeed boost our population...giving it a whorl before I pass judgement...looking forward to the challenge, actually of pitting a 16, albeit bolstered, against a 40...

I like the idea, just think it would be nicer to spread the action across two zones due to how zergy it will inevitably be.

Good job. Fun to go back to old locations.

Multiple zones is a phase of this event we will get to. Give NA a chance to actually have some fights during their primetime at least.

First of all, I do not see the fascination with middle tiers. Power level through and get to t4, period. That is the 1st objective. Middle tiers have nothing of value, nothing. Boring stale maps, gear that is obsolete 5 career levels after you get it, and RvR lakes that are NOT designed for 5 or 6 or 8 wb's to fight through. So to put it bluntly, screw tiers 2 and 3. they are worthless.

As for t4, the only reason it is stale is because the devs screwed it all up. Sorry, but that is my opinion. (And of many others who pm me in game to say thank you for all I say, because they agree).
How you ask? Simple ...
Devs took away
1- multiple zones being open allowing for factions to operate in multiple zones, which allows for multiple zone battles. Yes Yes, i know the common complaint; "But people take empty zones".
WHO CARES? Aside from about half a dozen people complaining that they missed a lock tick, no one else complained. Because multiple zones allow for the outnumbered side to stop the zergy side from locking everything up. And this allowed people that dont like fighting zergs, a chance to play.
So in short, all the people who hate zergs (from both sides of it) got chased away from the game.

Then ...

2- They created a system where boredom waiting for a lock, where the most hated part of Live (RESOURCES) are back into play. A system that drove away even more people.

So, in short ... Devs tried a new RvR system. (KUDOS for trying) It doesnt work. So instead of admitting they screwed up and revert to the RvR system we had on live (version patch 1.3 was best), what do they do?

3- Create a reward system for gear and RR Buff pots, but scatter it into the lower tiers, in an attempt to increase pop there. BUT... to do that, they lost pop in t4.

So, do they admit their idea doesnt work, and revert? NOPE...

They now create a system where EVERYONE has to play in the lower tiers ...????

Bring back the 1.3 patch RvR system. Stop wasting months of coding time trying to RE-Invent the game and get dungeons out. Trust me... you get dungeons and their gear out and people will come back. Especially Bastion Stair, LoTD and ToVL.

Stop trying to make something new, and bring back what people loved about the game to begin with. That is how you will bring players back. Not gimmicks like this DOOM event!

You need to calm down a little bit. Maybe a lot, not sure how twisted your undergarments have become. What you feel worked 'best' is wildly subjective, and not-sorry that we disagree. Development is going to happen whether you like it, or at times, in direct spite of your raging objection. Reviewing your post history there seems to be a whole lot of the latter, and not much of the former. Maybe that's just your thing, but it's tiring to have to read over and over.

This link still applies to everyone on the server. If you can't get over the fact we're changing things and feel like unleashing your rage on staff for doing so, give it a read, and decide for yourself if this is the server you want to play on. Otherwise, take the game, and the people who develop for it, as the only thing you've got. Day 1 rage at new changes has NEVER been something we like to see. Bite your tongue, or face more direct moderation.
