The cookie cutter Khaine is to just get Ether Dance then Hoeth for the Shield.

Ether dance, great weapon mastery, balanced accuracy, phoenix wing, shield from hoeth
Tactics are both khaine ones, ensorcelled agony, potent enchantments.
Rotation - shield -> wrath of hoeth -> blurring shock -> ensorcelled blow -> sudden shift as soon you got to second stance - > ether dance. Use phoenix wing as filler during 2nd stance

I use close to that rotation. Except I dont use sudden shift instead I do wrath of hoeth. When you use WOH I use the snare. Is sudden shift important ? Im kind of new to SM but I hate using SS.

his rotation is better. get that spirit debuff up asap. SS so you get to ED asap when you have both your key debuffs up (WOH and blurring shock). Now if he's already spirit debuffed you have a choice of phoenix wing, snare, parry depending on the situation.

Optimal DPS? Shield - Wrath - Blurring - eb - shift - ether dance

obviously if you need a snare then you'll use that

SS after EB w/ tactic helps the dot tick (which can crit) syncing with ED ticks to create burst

and which blade is best?

Nature's most of the time since it's the most beneficial:
1) procs the most = more PE procs
2) stat buff/debuff = ini debuff = more crits
3) heaven's doesn't stack anymore = pointless cuz WoH or kobs got you covered 99.9999%
4) phantom's decent for solo roam, but it has a ICD and is meh even in vaul spec

SM is best at being an off tank - you got WoDS for surviving focus

Talking from an experience of having reliable group mates so if I'm getting focused I know I have a decent chance of surviving
