Nah dude, i didn't bring that video here. I don't follow your stream. Was just pointing out that that guy was making a bad comparison (unsupported WP vs. fully supported RP) and if he wanted to compare something, it should be the RP and WP from that same group. I didn't do the comparison or watch the videos (only the part he linked). This is the second time i explain this, i hope you get it now.

Yeah RP can have crazy survivability when his group supports him. Like most other healers. So maybe survivability is not exactly the reason why Dok/WP are the most popular healers (yet their survivability will go up in T4, maybe not much compared to RP but with Zeal/AM/Sham). So why exactly are they so popular?

Being the easiest healer to play definitely plays a big part of it, though there are other reasons like you explained it in this very thread (when i asked you why you ran 2/3 Doks and you replied with "faster cast times are better when facing the zerg/larger numbers"). If double Dok/WP works much better than other combinations when doing RvR against larger numbers, then i don't see where is the balance.

To be fair, neither Shaman/AM nor Zealots have as much armor as RP have

Shaman has probably more survivability (try catching him!).

It is quite simple. Dont expect either side to be likely to win when uneven numbers fight. If we have perfect balance and even skill 10 should lose to 100. ;) For this common case of imbalance the dok/wp are good ways to even that out. If you nerf them you promote zerging. Buffing single target healers is likely to destroy 6on6 balance since no healclass needs a buff there.

But if Dok/WP are as good as cloth healers for 6v6, AND are better for zergbusting... why roll any healer other than Dok/WP?

Do you want to ruin the game?

Double dok/wp are the only things that stop the always malevolent zerg from conquering everything and nerfing them would mark the end of all things that are good in this game.

If DoK/WP are best in 6v6 (Dok/WP+X) and double DoK/WP are best in everything else, that still seems sort of unbalanced. Or would you not say that double DoK/WP are also best in 12v12 (Scens) ?

Although I 100% agree that nerfing those healers is kind of risky

Dok/wp have to fit the 6on6 setup, having two of them is a disadvantage against most setups.
They cant keep up a dps like a rp/wp or zeal/dok setup can. Therefore you need at least 1 st healer.
Doks and Wps are easy to play, you dont even need to target your grp mates, thats why everyone and their grandma rolls one.
