I'd like to add that I'm not an X-realmer, yet I play on both sides. The problem with most people's definition of x-realming is that, it's players who switch side all the time, depending on what faction is currently winning and getting most kills.

What I do is that I play Order with my guild most of the time, and then I also have some alts I like to play on, the rest of the time. Problem is, I don't care much for the WH, nor the SM, Slayer or IB. The WE, BO, Choppa and BG on the other hand? I love em! Even if you did this account-faction-lock, it wouldn't stop me from just making another account (Oh wait I already have one, lals. Don't use it, though). I WANT to play a WE, if I want to do stealth-gameplay. I WANT to play a BO if I want to play a plan-based tank. I WANT to play a Choppa or BG, because I enjoy those classes, but I don't care for dwarves (jk, I **** HATE em!!!!).

Many people would probably just strawman me, and call me an x-realmer, anyway. I don't do the whole switching sides depending on who's winning, though. That's the thing.

I'm sure you could make some people stop playing both factions, but frankly, I don't think that you will even notice the difference.

X realmers are not the problem because those guys are really bad players. I cant imagine someone to log off, change realm, log in just for getting a little bit of renown. One can cap renown in several hours. I dont even get those AAO chasers. Renown is super easy to obtain.

The most posibble reason why are u suddently outnumebred is that ppl got bored. U know, defending the keep is boring as hell - spam AoE dmg/heals and fight trough 2 chokes. No room for tactics, the keep area is tiny and there are no (true) rewards for spending time in keep defense (or offense, its the same thing).

Also the "mass pvp lag" is real, the usual wipe is in the lag when the game start to be slideshow (around 100 ppl in 150ft area) and one side have more AoE (as u cant ST dmg/heal in lag).

AAO chasers are not exactly after renown (most are already rr40 anyway). They chase a good fight against larger numbers.
