Thinking more about Rain Lord and how it is a good candidate for buffing and become a Force building ability which would be desirable to use.
In addition to building force you could add a chance to remove a blessing/gift.

Golden Aura should be moved to 7 in Vaul and increase the effectiveness of Rain Lord and Law of Age by 30% and reduce their disrupt chance by 20%. Arcing power could then be moved to 9 and provide ghealing from damaging spells.

It should be turned into a short damage mitigation shield. One of the issues why melee trains are dominant is guard. Giving ams the ability to provide the equivalent to a short duration guard to ranged and allow tanks to get back to them.
