Can confirm, works for me 100%.
Worked for me, twice. But no more. God only knows why.

Important: you have to do this everytime you change chars.
Like closing your WAR.exe, removing last created addons folder, restarting and so on.
At least that's the way it works for me.

I am happy for you, but sadly for me, renaming the addon folder, starting the client fresh and trying to log in is no longer working. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. I'm sure if I try a couple of hundred times more it'll let me in but the last few hours is killing my desire to try.

On loading screen, try to use keyboard as if you were trying to move your character (or jump or enter). Not saying it fix it, but having the same issue, i enter the game in less than 4 tries.
Actually issue in server code haven't been spotted and devs in charge are a bit busy IRL.
