As a primarily 2h Tank player I am not excited to hear about the WS -> initiative change.
In a coordinated group facing challenging opponents a 2h tank can very rarely take a strictly offensive setup into combat. Instead, we need to opt for gear pieces with passive tankiness like wounds, toughness, and parry. So usually for me this looks like 6 WL with 2 offensive Sov, a ton of wounds tallies to get me a bit above 9k hp, and full defensive renown points [FS, DD, Reflexes, Quick Escape]. When built like this, you do not deal significant damage to land kills, my damage bonus only sits around 120 [unbuffed], but with the passive armor pen built from WS and WL set bonus [About 42%] this 120 melee damage bonus is enough to help assist your dps and peel. All this to say, I'm concerned that with this stat restructuring 2h Tanks planning on playing against 6vX and 6v6 at a competitive level are going to have to go out of their way to regain their lost defensives by trading out their small bit of offensive pressure. Leading me to my even further concern which is; if we lose our bit of pressure, it's going to be very very difficult to avoid wearing a shield even in small man.

Weaponskill changes seem like a buff to magic users like witch elf or chosen or sword master.

I mean already doing physical damage kind sucked needing a secondary stat to do damage.

But now magical dmg dealers can benefit from the ini without affecting damage. Physical can't. Seems poorly thought out.

Frankly the whole system of armor and armor pen needs look at if you're gonna start prodding around with those stats.

Will weapon skill still provide armor pen?

WE specifically speaking, RA build is actually a physical dmg build, so a nerf to that. There is a Witchbrew build, but it was nerfed pretty heavily recently.

Melee SW and SH rejoice at opportunist.
Please consider the making Runefang a full mirror of Daemonclaw now, this will make it even less useful.

BO grpspeedbuff + cc immunity and now this Zealot dmg reduction...
i understand that this is not a big thing for casualplay (and therefore the majority of Players) but at a certain point this is not acceptable.

... whoever is giving you advice has either no real experience in any form of teamplay or is heavily biased ...

The whole game is designed around a 3-5 second Burst Window in cases where you not brute forcing the enemy into death with superior numbers !

- Oath Rune of Warding - Active effect reworked into: No cost. 60s cd. Instant cast. Shield yourself, absorbing 1162 damage over 10 seconds. (Effect scales with points in Path of Grimnir).

vs

- Mark of the Vortex active effect reworked into - No cost. 60s cd. Instant cast. Reduce your damage taken by 50% for 3 seconds. This does not stack with Detaunt.

hehe

So RP gets a buff to their rune of cleaving via two tactics, one adds minus resist and then they can extend the range while Zeal gets a tactic no one will ever use...? Yay 30 seconds off a skill that you normally use once a fight anyways...?
