Looks like my dubious WH parry/crit build will no longer retain the remaining shred of viability it may or may not have had. Oh well, 'twas fun while it lasted.

It's normal enough. The zealot one is higher value, and a bit contrary to appearances can be far stronger in certain situations. Damage isn't created equally, and a magic only shield is easier to time to a BW timestamp for example, which yields a lot more effective mitigation than a shield getting chewed down by other stray hits with far lower crit damage modifiers. In fact, I'm almost 100% certain this exact scenario is why the initial detaunt thing was conceived, and why the second iteration is this. Which guilds and which alliance ?
