its more like players do not see anything wrong when they can fight at lvl 26 vs. lvl 21 and instead of agree there should be some change they simply laugh at you and tell you you can grind to lvl 26 too. Im not talking about difference vs. 12 - 26, possibility to spec for solid mastery spec compared to lvl 12 1 mastery point, nor another abilties. Simply about 26 vs 21. go to pve and hit something at yer lvl and then hit something 5 lvl lower and then compare it.

that AM laser beam was just example cuz my lvl 25 WE hasnt been hit so hard by the same player.

I guess what people are trying to say is that there are ways to deal with this. You don't HAVE to be at the bottom of the food chain, unless you want to.

I started a SM last saturday. Went straight into T2 at level 1 and joined a WB. Leeched XP/inf/renown until level 17. Then grinded mobs while waiting for SCs till i was 20. At 18 i already had several pieces of RvR Inf gear. Last night i did the same to 22. Was getting top DBs/damage in SCs against lvl 15-21 players.

Grinding mobs also helped me level my scavenging to around 150+. Worked on Talisman making and got it around lvl 125+ as well. So now i have some STR talismans slotted and a few more waiting for when i am able to wear Sentry gear.

Overall it took me 4 days to get to level 22, and i wasn't at the bottom of the food chain once except for a few SCs in the lvl 22-26 bracket (i didnt do SCs till 17, and in RvR i almost never engaged). Fun? Not until around lvl 14. But it was fast. I solved my problem without asking anything from the devs.

I think it is important to add that at no point during these 4 days did my SM join a premade. Just in case some people want to use the old "yeah you probly got carried by an OP premade, nerf premades!". I did all of this solo (except for maybe 50% of a level where TK and Twyxx healed me).

This is an Alpha, with ad honorem devs. They won't always solve our problems for us. We have the tools; let's use them.

Grulo, same thing Im doing on my mara. started at lvl 1, did some t1 scs while leveling up to reach some rr12 or so for sc win bonus while still in t1. then did some rvr mostly hiding in the blob, then some pve to grind money and exp with scs once I hit lvl 14 to get some gear from vendor.

yea. we have "tools" or "ways" to make it better, though I still cannot understand players that tell you there is nothing wrong you can fight in rvr players 5 lvl lower (even with bolster) because you can grind to lvl 26 too.

to me its just same crap as on live with rr90+ t5 sets without t5 zone, bugged lotd talis, rewards for rve etc. it was also justified as "you can do it too, so there is nothing wrong with the system"

Did you guys post on the live forums about the PvP ruleset servers? "Mythic, my level 1 is getting 1-shot by level 21 shadow warriors in Fetzenplatz. And the main reason I'm on a level 1, is I have 12 alts. Please help."

There is a fundamental flaw in your argument. In live you couldn't get to rr90 in 4 days (much less rr100). In RoR you can get to the top of the food chain in 4 days or less.

If 4 days is too much for some people, then they should not be playing an mmo (much less a PvP mmo).

sorry I have forgot in rvr players lower than lvl 26 are unable to be targeted by lvl 26 and also they are unaffected by aoe dmg, let alone speak about effective rank that doesnt even lower the dmg they might do to lvl 26.

Since somewhat decent green drops from mob kills, I'd say be smart and grind them even if it's boring.
Some rvr gear isn't that good whe you take a look at level 23 stuff... If that's not a motivator the go ahead and get 2 shot by the higher level players

I got myvaxe of the weird last night and I'm 26.. talk about unfair. I grinded mobs and made talis so I could afford that toy when it came up for sale... we should def give the casuals a buff because they are too lazy to mske their toons better.

Yeah if you don't want to be farmed by lvl 26 then get your toon to that lvl it's not that hard. With my work schedule I've only played half an hour a day for three days and I've almost got a whole lvl tonight's 25 Saturday I got from 21 to 24 in a few hours. Basically I feel like in a few days you Williston lvl and stillcomplaining about imbalances....
