Good to know the lack of self-heal on this morale is just a bug. Hope it will get fixed, I miss my favorite m2

Thanks for the Update LMAONishka wrote:The "emperor's champion" morale was fixed and now 100% functional. Just remember: every time you're abusing ec+runefang, the nerf bat shortens the distance to our heads by 1mm. Merry Christmas kotbses
It strikes me as cumbersome, from a design perspective, to make an exception to tactic+morale stacking rules for a single combination. It was an idea that was proposed internally for Festering Arrow and Unshakable Focus as well. Just like then, I would advise focusing on adjusting the tactics or morales rather than making an exception to a core principle of the game's ability design. You could make a strong argument that for a core ability, Runefang is almost twice as powerful as it should be. Similarly, Emperor's Champion probably lasts too long for the effect. These changes, or others like them, are far more palatable solutions.Penril wrote:Stacked full wounds/armor talismans on my kotbs.
Used Emperor's Champion/Runefang.
Got 800+ wounds and capped my Str. WS, Toughness and Initiative were pretty high too (dont remember the exact values, will post a SS tonight).
With + morale gear you can get M2 really quickly. Runefang and Emperor's Champion should NOT stack.
BTW, i play KotBS. And i still think this stacking is stupid.
you have 3 other tac slots to drop you 20% crit and 15% heal, if need be you can even run 2 kotbs and the other can run sliced through and whateverLuth wrote:I don't understand all the problem about it seriously:
If a knight is wasting his morale to selfishly buff his own stats in a group vs group situation, the other side should /lol at him.
He could also use the M3 damage debuff, the aoe root, champions challenge or some other useful morale instead.
Same for Runefang: why should anyone take a tactic that only buffs his stats, when he could also take one that is beneficial to the whole group. He would indirectly weaken his team.
But if this is about 1vs1 roaming, ...
I strongly disagree. A tanks main role is it, to soak damage/protect others and deliver CC. The secondary role is to support the DDs.Torquemadra wrote: A tanks role isnt just to soak up damage and you seem to be focusing on str and missing the point that this combo buffs initiative, toughness and wounds, all rather tasty "tank" stats and one could certainly argue that 30 seconds of that is better than 10 seconds of block or raze..... as for ditracting bellow, you are not always within 30 feet of the person(s) you need to debuff if they have broke around the back lines.
But we could theorycraft all day, the point is a tank isnt just a shield waving a feather duster, it is a multifunctional class and being able to put hard pressure on back lines in terms of damage certainly isnt something to "lol" about because they can do it without being in a glass cannon spec.
