Joinig a scenario alone or in a partial group means you need to change your expectatons of the outcome as opposed to joining with a premade. Expect to loose and if not it is a positive surprise.

When catering to groups however it is imperative that there are no abusable "close to bugged" metas active, else the community implodes.

So far I like the direction RoR has gone, I don't think RoR is a truly competitive game (in sc's), you really need the whole game designed around something like that.

I would say if I had a magic wand for this I would just make sure 1 healer /group should be in queue and continue to let the rest be as it is.

I really enjoy sc's in this game and the vibe is good in general, quick pop, random opponents and allies.. There's no overthinking to be done here.

Yes and because scs are not competitive should be an alternative to get mercenary/weapons. Im not playing while that problems arent solved . If i must Play or better said, if im forced to Play horrible scs to get the set i want i must say no and bb. As i always say i Play a Game for fun and not to get frustration . Im a multichar player too. I have wasted my time and fun equpping full merc some characters but i wont suffer It anymore. Waiting for changess i must say thx anyway cause i know u are working on this project, i just have the Hope u chose a right way.

It's not a truly competitve game, but it's a TEAM game. There is a big difference here.

You literally have to be the most salty individual I've come across on these forums. You have no idea how incredibly easy this game is to gear up in (especially in its current iteration), yet you insist on changes made to facilitate to your preferred playstyle, i.e. gimme gimme gimme. You're not forced to play in any shape or form.

Aza shouldn't take the blame tbh re how server is, given that he's single-handedly (for a large part) been working on certain balancing issues/has had to make the final call for a lot of things. trial and error, man.

Idea, make a scenario where you can only join with full 6 man that gives extra special goodies to winners. Maybe emblems that will have future use to buy 50s and 60s renown scenario weapons, or it can be converted into 3-5 normal officers emblems. (or special emblems that no one knows what use they shall have in the future?) (or allow those emblems to be converted into medals?)
Potentially allow it to become 2 premades vs 2 premades scenario on some maps.

Anyway, invent some inventive for even random guilds to start their own 6 man sc premades.

I know Devs will solve this well
just few worries here
forced tank/dps/heal ratio, i imagine assist train fest, no strategy just assist train and punt the guard game.
forced guard bot/heal bot play, even more turning to dps?
freedom to casual vs forced serious play
it's hard to find balance
maybe Devs can make options for players to choose?
easy mode que and hard mode que

We were stuck in a middle ground before: not incentivizing group play enough but not catering to solo players either.

We chose to cater to the casuals, and sacrificed the integrity of the game for it.

For all the complaining about casuals not wanting to X or Y, this is still a MMORPG. It's a group game. It's a social game. That's the whole damn point. I should never have bought any of the ridiculousness about people wanting to play this type of game alone. It should always have been developed to cater towards the formation of groups, warbands and guilds, and the changes should have been directed instead towards measures to prevent people from screwing themselves in that environment and to push them towards guilds and groups. Restrictions on group size and composition are such an example.
So reapproach it.

SCs, PUG or not, are more fun than 99% of the rest of the game. Run resources, bleh. Take a keep, bleh. Defend a keep, bleh. ...order zerg, bleh. Warband roam, bleh bleh. Farm materials, bleh. ToVL, bleh.

I didn't choose the squig herder life, the squig herder life chose me!

The biggest problem with SCs is that the majority of them favor ranged careers, so all you really see Order playing are BWs and EGs- no diversity- you might see a Slayer every blue moon but that's about it. It's a design flaw.
The only thing the ror team can do is to disable every map except for Gates of Ekrund and Reikland Factory, but I don't see that happening.
