In my opinion Choppa doesnt need a utility ability in the top of their AoE tree. The two bottom abilities are both utility so I think it should be straight damage, though different from ID. But I would be hesitant to make that change because the pull has become an iconic ability of the Choppa.
So first off the RNG snare is bad, you blow your exhaust for a lolrandom snare if anything it should be changed into a consistent value snare on the targets hit
And chop fasta isn’t all that great, it lost all its value after the devs changed what all it affected specifically sorc and choppa lost its place in any organized warband and BO does it better cause he can debuff Corp and deal AoE dmg at the same time to synergize better
So those 2 abilites just exist but theyre not good and if it wasn’t for busted GTDC choppa would have 0 reason to be in your warband
“Iconic” abilites don’t mean much and arnt some golden cow that can’t be changed espically if they are flawed In concept and design as GTDC what choppa needs is a better ability and better tactics in the wrecka tree besides stuff like lots more choppin that can provide utility to make them more desire able much like Mara crushing blows etc
not much to add, just still worthy to take a choppa if you go for bg choosen as tanks( crimoson death)
what would you think about remove the dmg penalty on lots of chopping? if slayer would keep rampage as it is and you take an average defense of 20% parry in mind, woulndt that line up pretty much?

I didnt say they are good utility, but they are utility. It seems like the Choppa should have an ability in its AoE tree that is damage centric.
If it were up to me I would make the change. Just saying some people might have a problem taking that ability away.
Anyway you dont have to agree with me, it's an opinion thread. My opinion is rework the 13 point ability to be a nice damaging ability that's not ID. Or leave GtdC as is. Dont spend a lot of time trying to tweak the ability, it's never going to be perfect.

My suggestion would be :
- Make it check defense (not indefendable)
- Increase base damage
- lower the pull immune (10 sec/15 sec ?)

Can you explain what exactly this means?
Pull give an immune , I suggested to reduce this immune a bit (I need to check original duration) as it’s 1 players pull randomly and it would be defendable.

i think he mean the immunity. in his opinion it should give 10s immunity instead of 15s immunity, at least this is what i understand.

why should be defendable in your opinion?
Pull / punt are incredibly powerfull tool for orvr (especially during siege). If they are undefendable , you break funnel with one skill. That’s why no punt and pull were undefendable on live . In another hand , I propose to increase the damage (so turn it to a better Aoe ability) with a lower immune due to the randomness of the pull to not give long free immune neither . But that’s just my opinion.
