because it seems to be like with the 80s' transformers movie: Wipe the old to sell the new.

What happened in end times was a rather unrealistic thing at all. Just to obviously furfill this purpose.

The story itself as an isolted compaign, probably nice, but the "effect" on the warhammer world basically changed what warhammer was. or in other facts when you liked Warhammer you liked it for what it was. When GW changes this, you may not like it anymore. They changed and erased the entire WH FB world basically making it a new system. And the new system seems not to have much logic or realis, just fancy new miniatures to sell. It's missing love and details WH had.

Thats basically like, making WAR for serveral years then make it WOW with using 80% of the graphi assets of WAR for WOW. But generally aside from some race similarities its something entirely own.

Most hate it because it was a business decision forcing the narrative instead of what was in the best interests of the ip. Games Workshop had decided to move to towards the luxury model collector market and away from the table top gaming market. So they needed a way to reduce their product lines and have a constant supply of new special edition models. They couldn't do that for a large persistent universe. You cant blame them though as they are a business after all. Still the old world ip with its much deeper lore still suits games so any warhammer games from the sega license will likely still be set there.

I'd say destroying childhood is enough for the hating :) Do you like Electronic Arts for treated WH: Age of Reckoning as sh*t and closed it?
