Shaman/AM are just overperforming atm; it's not so much that DOK/WP are weak. Anyone saying so just wants to revert them back to the hurr durr OP status they've enjoyed for years. Having said that, I do feel that Shaman/AM changes ought to be, at least, revisited/turned off for a bit, if the balance forums/balancing in general is going to be off the radar for the foreseeable future.

Nah I love that DPS can be rendered useless by using one ability, let's not change that at all. /s

My point has always been dps WP will always do much more badly than dps DOK. They can be good support for Order melee train, but most random Order players don't run melee trains. And usually only way for dps DOK/WP to work atleast somehow is if you run in a group with friend/friends/guildies. For the best healer dps will always be dps AM&Shaman.

Most people at least on Order side hate dps WP's mostly because now every time a sc starts we have 1 wp that could group cleanse, but they are always solo dps who use almost 0 times their heal skills. They might not have that much hatred if Order didn't run like 80% players are only dps classes and rest 20% is tanks / healers (Solo players).

My advise join guild and try to get people to run with you from there. Tank & DPS wp can be decent combo and work as well as tank&dok's are to take alot of heat to themselves from other classes.

I reckon Dps DoK/WP is fine.......if you q up with your Guard bot tank when you are pugging it.....thats all.

Destro has a few good Dps DoKs, but i have to say, the ones that are not as good outweigh them that are.

I play with a mate dps shammy, who usually always respecs to heals for sc. (he cant stand the flaming he gets from all the saltys wanting heals). For some reason a dps shammy doesn't bother me as much as the DoKs, because they stay back and don't insta die. I will gladly swap guard to any toon near me that is taking a hit, but I am just one tank, we already got an sc full of mdps classes, so the poor DoK rolling dps will more than likely cark it before my guard reaches them (also I am only talking about the PuG Doks)........... and dps zeals......who are they?

DPS WP is not fine whatsoever, but that's an argument for another day.

Well the Ab ex For shammy /am makes healing extremly strong ... To strong in my eyes because of life tapping is to easy
The way as pure Dps shammy / am Is another thingy

if this happen , imo engi magus changes should go aswell

Yes, lets remove all the cool changes and go back to playing the unbalanced **** heap that was live...

In lieu of the balance forum being active, Id rather see no sweeping changes made to classes yet. Magus and engi are finally at least a threat beyond being rift-bots, and AM/shammy actually use their spectrum of abilities now. Id rather see that stay then go back to "all doks, all the time," and do we really need to make bright wizard/sorc even more prevalent?

Balance isn't dead forever, just for now. When we have something more interesting to announce, we will probably have it on the front page.

Difference being that one of these sets of changes are vastly overperforming in the eyes of a lot of competent players, whereas the other set has allowed classes in question to become somewhat viable - not overly viable.
