Not really things like gryphons lash were 40ap and most other abilities 35ap. So while you might need a free ability in the lower tiers. At T4 with ap generation on gear and cheap double ap pots. You're not really going to have ap issues. Again its scaling issue. Any benefit is completely negated as you scale.

Also compare getting a free ap with what other classes get. Natural ap generation tactics that are passive or ap drains that can shut down the enemy.

Having half your abilities locked out in exchange for every 3rd gcd free. Not worth it. Just a drawback at end game.

If there was no ap on gear and no ap pots sure maybe it would be sort of useful. Still a big drawback though. Mechanics need to be beneficial all the way through the game.

I'd say ktobs tactic that gives almost infinite AP is much better than a crappy free ap skill... But ktobs and chosens are overpowered. Still, somehow I never saw black orcs as weak when playing against them, and sms were quite dangerous. Maybe because you need to be a good player to play a weaker class

If SM and BO had a high skill floor as opposed to being underpowered, you would see them as viable endgame classes among the best players. That's apparently not the case.

New tactic, que for scen, stand in spawn spamming heals and get noticed for having top heals !

I always thought that the one thing that gimped my BO was the lack of a long-range ST punt.

All other tanks (except SM of course) have one, which is usually the deciding factor in a fight (if you want to kill someone you need to separate him from his guard). No long-range ST punt = your enemy will always be in guard range. In the meantime, KotBS/IB will constanly superpunt your ass away from your allies, adding insult to injury.

BOs/SMs were excellent for soloing, but against top-tier premades, they weren't a desirable choice.

I tried BO, they are fun to play. You can kick humies in the balls (or in the faces, if they are stunties)

So this is best player of each class topic, on RoR forum... I am wondering why people are still typing names, of people who quitted 3 years ago, on live server. If u really wanna state your opinion, write down the names of thoose who are actually playing RoR.. On the other hand, this topic is still pointless, lol. Btw... Ivashka? U clearly know what best players are
