Try this build : https://builder.returnofreckoning.com/c ... ,9121,9117

If you are not rr70 yet, drop either the KD or the debuff heal.

When you are on trash mobs, use this build with split arrows (go skirmish an spam spiral fetched, broadhead and Lileath)

When you are focused, switch to assault and use shadowstep for extra defense (+Whirling pin if really needed)

When you are hitting bosses, go full assault and use another tactic slot : drop split arrows for merciless soldier, then use rotation : Crosscut, draw blood (refresh asap), brutal assault and swift strikes.

Dont forget to cast AP regen, and be sure to be base -10% chance to be crit, to counter Bullseye malus (use liniment and renown as needed).

Alternatively and if you dont want ou can take the Bullseye debuff, use Wrist Slash instead (its on bosses you'll need full dps anyway).

Hey SWs, I have updated the builds with the latest Career Builder (11/02/2026).

Note: The "Swizz Murder" build is less effective now, but still fun to play.

Enjoy.

Hey,

Thanks for the build !

Returning player here, playing my assault/skirmish SW (same build as your Hattori Hanzō).

I find it difficult to chose a good gear. We have a lot of option for skirmish or scout, but for assault I struggle.
Wich set would you run at rr40/50 ?

Thanks a lot !

Have a nice day,

My pleasure.

At rr40/50 I would stick with an offensive set with +crit and ballistic talismans and balance the defensive abilities, especially futile strike.

The objectives is not to burn tokens on alternative sets (unless you do PvE set like Onslaught or Redeye, then you may slot 2 or 3 armor tali scale your armor defenses in Assault stances) in order to reach as quickly as possible to Warlord or Sovereign. Also, should you want to play Scout or Skirmish build based back --> they work better with ballistic + WS.

Btw, If you're in a hurry, Warlord is good on SW, it is not a bad investment.

Alternatively, you may also do a mix of ballistic tali on your armor, armor tali on your weapons, then balance your crit % and %crit reduction with renown. With RR50 you will still be somewhat limited with your build.

If you're playing in a guild and manage to get a guard --> worry not, go max on offense, with +%crit in with renown points, and enjoy the big numbers with Brutal Assault.

Thanks a lot for answering that fast!

I do way better in pvp with futile strike !! I used to stack endurance and HP.
I'm missing crit% now, I'll try to get more.

I will save my tokens for the Warlord at R70.

Have a nice day,
