why would you make a conversion rate 1:10 when people already had 2 weeks to farm emblems?

The working ones at going to be hit hard but on the up side you at least should breeze them all with 20+ players farming gear
As an aside does master loot and opting out work atm?

That might cause some additional difficulty with the pq's hmm. Ah screw it im sure it will be fine.
Question: Assuming no other items provide initiative what is the to be crit chance of a marauder in mercenary?

Nice work, really improved old sets.
Only one question bothers me: Is that announcement means that we will not have the opportunity to see set bonuses until we buy one piece, or set piece's stats in ToK for some time?

It is not like getting gear was easy on live until they started handing it out for free late in the game.
It took a long time to farm Ruin on live, due to crappy bag drop rates, and even annihilator took weeks if not months to get depending on how active your server was.
I used to lead alliance RP warbands into Bastionstair to get people bloodlord, because at least it had 100% drop rate on set pieces from the bosses, and you could swap people in and out of the group to make the most of the gear drops. That and the PQ drops were really nice!
When I got my conq. helm it was a big deal, and I road around with it proudly for months, because it was from the first fortress lord kill on the server, and until they changed the RvR system, those kills were extremely rare on a balanced server.
It wouldn't be a bad thing if the dev's made gear gain, and renown gain really slow again. Towards the end they made everything easier, and quicker. This was done because they wanted the game to appeal to newer players, and to lessen the power gap they introduced when they redid the renown ranks, sov, and then introduced 90 / 100 stuff.

Don't know if its been addressed/asked already but...
Why do BWs get Elemental Resistance instead of corp/spirit one as a set bonus?
I can only think of magus using some elemental damage abilities on destro.
