System.InvalidCastException: Cast specificato non valido.

in System.Management.ManagementScope.InitializeGuts(Object o)

in MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
in RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()
What do I have to do?
I have the same problem. Tried both downloading the torrent version of the game and manually downloading all the 10 pieces of zip archive. This error stops me from logging in in both cases. I've checked multiple times that none of the files are set to read-only. I also tried starting the launcher as admin and, ofc, restarting PC.
Nothing of the above helped.
Is there any solution for this issue?
Thanks for help

Please help, I cannot login the RoR Launcher. Are the servers down? Or do I need to create a separate account to login onto the launcher?

Could you try putting these files inside your game folder and run the RoR launcher as administrator, please.

You need to put the Return of Reckoning launcher inside the game folder.

If you've already downloaded the game, you can ignore whatever error message you get from the torrent application.

This is the screen I get. No option to play.
With this error still
Data.myp:
System.InvalidCastException: Cast specificato non valido.
in System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo)
in System.Management.ManagementScope.InitializeGuts(Object o)

in MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
in RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()
Sorry to be so much trouble. Just played it when it first came out back in the day

Could you try putting thes files inside your game folder and try logging in through the RoR launcher. Might need 2 or 3 attempts.
