GTdC is a broken ability tha must be removed. It doesn't respect the range, when you are pulled, the collision keeps you in the air and when you're in the air, you're unable to do anything. It's a very bugged ability and devs should have removed it years ago already.
The games code is older than you. If you think gtdc is bad, you should have been here when BO snb tanks could take three hit combo or those two-three OP BG talents that got trimmed off years ago.
I play this game since it's official launch and then moved to ror server. I remember well the absurd abilities of the past and, as you said "could", can't anymore and Gtdc must be nerfed or removed.
Live and ROR have very little in common. What you did on live doesnt matter on ROR.

As has been said already the abolity got 3 factors. Mobility, cc, damage.
Mobility AND range got buffed at the same time, making it OP.
Id fix it by
A)make range shorter to improve counterplays aka you can situate yourself to disrupt the channel without being sucked in yourself
B)make mobility less. Perhaps even a reduced mobility when channeling this.
C) create viable counters in other classes or remove cc immunity hardcaps so you can continiously fend off the meleeball channeling
Also that marauder pull has been made super strong against classes already weak vs melee doesn't help the realm balance

How about we just leave GtdC and Rampage as is and disable both at all inner keep and fort areas since that's where most of the complaints about these originate from.

That's how broken this game is. You need broken skills and classes to actually get kills. RoR went overboard with the defensive stuff while nerfing damage, especially ranged aoe at the same time.
Deft Defender for example was introduced very late in WAR to counter overboarding ranged damage. BUT, at that time ranged still had the 100% boost moral and channeled aoe stacking and overall higher damage. Before that it was split up in dodge and disrupt and very expensive to get. In RoR there is no 100% boost and there is no channeled aoe stacking and there are no rr100 sets yet Deft Defender is still there, no renown ability to counter it and it is still super cheap, making it very easy for everybody to defend ranged damage. That's just one example. There are other things that got added in RoR that made life a lot harder for ranged. Like WH/WE vanish with run speed or two hand tanks with parry guard that can do damage and protect incredible well.
Too many things were done to shift everything towards melee. To a point where melee dps M2 does more aoe damage than the morals of ranged dps. That's ridiculous.
The thing is, what was supposed to prevent melees from blobbing up and get too strong was nerfed hard: Ranged channeled aoe, 100% moral boost, ranged aoe damage overall and stacking and range overall. At the same time melees got more defense and better aoe. Not hard to tell which ones are doing better. Just look at the usual melee aoe premade...
That GTDC pulls need to go. Choppas like Slayers are supposed to be melees with highest damage in close range. Having no range should be the drawback for them. Giving Choppas high damage, high mobility and pulls cancel out their drawback that they have to get close. It was a stupid idea from the devs back then and needs to go. Choppa is a melee class and NOT a ranged dps. These pulls make them basically a strong melee dps plus ranged dps, allowing them to fish for targets all around them without having to go close, violating the melee concept and breaking good positioning of the enemies. All while doing large radius aoe damage and having movement speed - with 1 button press. How fair is that? Remove that garbage pulls once and for all.

Same could be said for Slayer - breaking mele concept and good positioning of enemies.

(it must be the first in shattering queue since ror shatter is not rng like live this mean hot and other buff will cover rampage since only the older shatterable budf can be removed, so even if tank shatter it after pop the removal is not 100%).
enginers in serious wb (if guild leader dont play engi) are rare or even legendary. byt u can find many in dwarf guild (where engis shine only in keep defence) also magnet 2 sec cast with constant atatcks are interupted (gtdc dont suffer from cast time ) wl need be in midle in blob to use aoe interupt and sm has wispering winds . what is sm plus and minus. your all builds are around it) so if choppa spam gtdc in melle train blob . u cant interupt because of so many gtdc spamers. pulling trough textures and jump on walls its not work as intend. imagine if rift/magnet work like gtdc . byt they have cast time not channel time
True, engineers for all intensive purposes shouldn't count as they are rarely in org WB's. And if they are there's only 1. And usually not to drop mines for interrupts but to go pull spec. We've got enough useless engineers running around throwing mines willy-nilly to the point where it's practically impossible to have a coordinated interrupt on a WB.
i seen grezko pull spec engi.
