what if we made "obsessive focus" increase all damage we (sorc) do by 10% for 10 secs , instead of what it does now ?
plus i think "the demonic chill " ability and it s mirror should be a buff that increase our corporeal resistance , armor resistance or something else cause 25% chance to deal 125 corporeal damage back to attackers is like " wtf where the live devs thinking" . :)

Sorcs need a pet unicorn, teleport and a self heal with every attack.

Simply put, Sorcs are one of the highest Single-Target damage classes in the game, and have a solid AoE/bomb spec as well. Obsessive Focus is internally balanced by reducing damage dealt to all other targets in favor of increasing the damage to one. Removing the damage reduction component is a laughable buff to both their ST and AoE trees that they don't need.

Beyond that, Daemon Chill (and its mirror) offers a buff that cannot be matched by any other class. A resistance buff, especially one specific to Corporeal damage, will have to compete with a Chosen's Aura, or a Shaman's buff, or a Zealot's Rune. All of which improve ALL resistances. Buffs do not stack like you might be thinking, only the highest one is counted. A damage-proc buff on the other hand, is only overridden by another instance of itself. That is, the only class you are competing with there is another Sorceress. This would be a severe and unwarranted nerf to the class.

And no, the nerf to the latter does not balance the former.
