[Marauder] Flames of Fate

So I rarely complain about whats overpowered/underpowered.
However I fail to see how a melee dps is warranted a ranged root morale that also does damage. This is the only ability that I have a massive problem with. I do not believe there is any justification for a ranged, root morale existing on any melee dps. The root isn't so terrible, whats worse, is that there is a 65 foot range on it. And I'm not even talking about the fact that it lasts around 8 seconds.
Please. Anyone. Justify this for me.

White Lion has an exact mirror of this M1. Both Marauder and White Lion have some anti-kiting tools. This is even more the case in T4.

Said this many times myself and usually while guarding a wl or mara, the range of flames of fate and ensnare should be melle range(5ft), its far to easy to guarantee a kill with it.

Mara has snare that cant be cleansed
WL has double snares between the player and pet
If you make their morale snares 5ft then there is no point to taking them over sever nerve and the burst it gives

You better check that info cuz mara snare on RoR in an ailment and can be cleansed.
