I couldn't find this anywhere else on the forum (if there is a similar post: a link to that post would be great!)
But if not, here is my question:

With the rank cap at 35: Is there better armor available then 'devestator/duelist/stalker'?
Or are those sets still the best?
And what about weapons, any changes there?

Devastator/Duelist is currently the best armour sets.
Annihilator hasn't been implemented yet.

No the new 35 purples are the best, followed by the new 35 blues

Or are they drops and can I buy them on the AH?

drops from pve/pvp and sold on the AH

And what about blue weps from quests?They have pretty high dps considering the fact that they are blue and socket slot. Epic ofc better.

Depends on the class, stats, and the set bonuses. Yes, the items themselves are higher ilvl, but that doesn't automatically make them better.

If you switch any of the 5 items out from the Devastator/Duelist set, then you'll lose your bonuses. Some sets have good bonuses for certain specs, others have bad ones. So, it depends. There's no black and white answer. All you can do is look at a certain example and determine what is best in that case.
