Return of Reckoning

In 2012, I checked the scavenging drop rates of level 40 mobs for purple and blue frags and curios. I was wondering if the devs might be interested in the results.

The mobs were the level 40 skeletons in lotd. I killed 2,000 of the skeletons and scavenged the frags shown in the link.

Each group of frags, from left to right, were lvl 200 blues, lvl 175 purples and lvl 200 purples.

So it looked like the drop rates were:

1% for a lvl 200 purple (0.2% for a particular stat such as armor)
1.5% for a lvl 175 purple
4% for a lvl 200 blue
8% for lvl 175 curios, and
3.5% for lvl 200 curios.

I vendored the white and green frags and the lvl 175 blues, so I have no stats on them. But they made up the remainder.

So basically...

I would say we have a 2% chance of a purple now killing champions. When I started scavenging en mase 6 months ago it was like 1 %. So they already raised it.
The bottleneck would be the amount of r30+ champions within reach.
The Dark elfs can killed in masses...but the really really wonderful stuff would still need a crit or special moment.

Would be more interested if someone already has astatistic about how high the chance for cirts and special moments are?
Maybe mass slaughtering of normal mobs/blue frags and special moment is even viable.

Wait, you can actually tell the difference between a 1% drop chance, and a 2% drop chance? Do you run statistics on every single mob you kill? o.O

I am german,so yes...I keep notes of important stuff. It is quite simple...2 litres of tea,some buttered bread and an empty back pack,make notes after a session while watching one of my favorite TV Shows.
