[Slayer]Different spec/tactic

So would like to know if any 1 tried to play like this on live or here.
Spec:
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=sla ... :;0:0:0:0: (and whatevers best as last tacic slot)(2h ofc)
The Idea is to never reach Berserk. As soon as you reach Furios you use an Exhausting atack. This will make you tankier then all other melee dps classes (on order). Something enemies wont expect. Will make it possible for 2h tanks to guard you (atleast ones with high parry) while having big burst potential with Spellbreaker and Deathblow (from the +75% mecanic)
Could this work? Have you tried? Thoughts plz.
(I know a pure dps spec is more dps but it also puts alot more stress on tanks and healer, wanted to try a spec that allows for different grp setups, like maby no snb tank in grp)

Oh people did it all the time, trollslayer 2h slayer is viable and enjoyed by many; myself included, the fact tham many slayers on live espically post rr100 never ran the spec was because of how much "easier and better" dw/ID slayer was
though I would also grab cleft in twain, though im not a fan of the tactic in general people will tell you that you need powered through for this build but unless i have back up i never run it

I haven't tried this spec because it's not possible yet. What I did try is to run a more robust slayer. For that I maxed out parry with renown and slotted armor in one of my devestator sets. So far I can't complain about the results... still top of the charts in deathblows and dmg most of the time.
I wouldn't recommend Ancestral Inheritance though... the str tactics are more stat effectiv if you compare them with talis. At least as long as you still want to reach the str soft cap.

2H slayer can work, but needs a solid group behind it, as you want to spam spellbreaker as your main damage.
Mudvayne on KN used to run this from time to time and had some decent success.
Currently, its not a bad choice, but incHD + SL is better.

A small point about playing slayer if you never reach beserk your damage will always be mediocre. While it's true you get 75% more from exhaustive strikes your AA's will suffer reducing your over all effective damage.

Breaking Point is plain suicide vs any Ini debuff, group or not.

2H without power through is extraordinarily subpar. If you want to:
A: Solo - you will want Fierce Might and PT. Axe kite to yellow when vs mDPS, rampage, then you can blow everything. Save KD for when you get low and you can completely turn a 1v1 with some insane dmg.
B: Group - 2H becomes the utility slayer. Adds KD, can keep rampage up a ton adding solid assist DPS, numbing strikes and some sneaky dmg with Desthbow and AA's. As person above me said, you'll hit like a wet noodle as your main tools would just drop your rage.
In the end, nothing beats ID for the sustained DPS. If you roll 2h just to run around with PS/Spinebreaker you're only gimping yourself.

why not taking +15% crit?

15% crit is actually mathematically better than brute force at lvl 35 for dmg, so there is nothing wrong with that. However, be careful. The increase in damage, especially in this HEAVILY range centric meta, when you're running PT and can't drop rage, may make you lose your mind.
