[Zealot] "Direct Healing"

Hey people,
probably a stupid question but i'm confused about the language of "direct Heal"
does that mean one target, one heal, or both simultaneously?
If my language is not clear, does any zealot AoE/HoT count? What about Dark medicine?
Cheers,
Me

Direct healing is a heal ability that is a targeted cast that has an immediate heal effect.
Hots are not direct heals, and neither are any lifetaps or damage-to-heal
Group heals, single-target cast heals, flash heals are all Direct heals.

AoE heal "Dust of Pandemonium" counts as a direct heal to all members, will proc stuff like Restorative Burst and Blessing of Chaos. The heal from the absorb skill counts as direct too.
Dark Medicine's first heal is a direct heal, with the following 5 smaller heals not being direct.

Thanks for the info, what about the case of Dark Medicine? As it is first a targeted single target heal and then a HoT, or the Shield that is single target but has a heal at the end?

To be honest Casteless, unless Dark Medicine gets buffed you shouldn't have it on your toolbar.

I wasn't planning on using it (AP cost way too high for what it is), I'm just trying to udnerstand the mechanics.

Let me just back up what Gobtar said here, but also offer some insight into how you could actually use this ability and not be made fun of.
For now, keep it off your bars, but keep in mind there are VERY niche uses for Scrub Medicine. Most (1) of which involve the need to only focus on a single person, Focused Mind, and a keen eye on incoming burst.
