Return of Reckoning

Hello, im trying to figure out which healer i should create as destruction, im trying to focus on small group healing and single player healing, and maybe deal some damage. Thanks fellas

Single target heals is going to be Zealot but I implore you to just play DoK...they are all around better healers.

Is shaman good? or is it bad?

Shaman or DoK will suit you fine.
DoK is just a really good healer, has very few faults.
Shaman has great kiting, but can feel a bit Action Points starved.

Yes but of all the healers on destro shamans are pretty good at avoiding that pressure via gobbo tactics and puddle. Proper gear and use of AP drain solves AP problems but I do feel like it is a bit too dependent on a good drain which can be impossible at times.

I would think shaman would be the best healer at the duo/trio level which I am assuming is what the OP is asking for based on his description of playstyle.

this is a myth, wrong one esp pre 39...

overall heal spells around the healers archetypes are more or less quite similar. Zealots got same if not better ST heals than shamans, while dok could do pretty good ST heal aswell thanks to low cast time of group heal, their disadvatage should be resourse pool managment but, hey they got AP ST heals also....

Zealot is pretty good choise IF you dont dislike the look of these homeless, overdosed scums

Shaman is good if you have encountered 1-3 enemies. You can leave them with no AP, it gives you time and AP itself to heal and cleanse your ally. Plus snaring puddle that gives no immune, two powerful HoTs(one of them buffs target for 233 toughness), AoE knockback and tactic for +30% movement speed when you get hit. Ah, yes, and absorb for about 900+ at t3. No one can kill you if you're healed by shaman. Not talking about 6 vs 1 challenge.

Try all healers and see what suits your style. I personally play DoK but will try shaman also. If you want more single target healing roll zealot.
